Sports Journalist
June 30, 2025. This just in...Minkah Fitzpatrick has been traded back to his former team the Miami Dolphins. In exchange the Steelers get Jalen Ramsey. Pittsburgh also gets a Dolphins 2027 seventh round draft pick and give up their 2027 fifth round pick to Miami. Included in the trade is tight end Jonnu Smith which means the Steelers have another valuable weapon on offense. Smith is also another big tight end at 6'3" and 248 pounds. His numbers in 2024 where nothing to write off. 17 games, 88 receptions, 884 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. Arthur Smith loves using his tight ends so now with Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington also in the mix and DK Metcalf to the outside, other teams should not underestimate the potential the Pittsburgh Steelers will be bringing to the table.

SEO Copywriter & Content Strategist
Hi! I'm Lauren, a Brooklyn-based copywriter, editor, and all-around animal lover. As a freelancer, I ghostwrite and edit SEO blogs, emails, landing pages, social media, and e-commerce content for multiple clients across B2B, B2C, DTC, and SaaS industries. I'm also passionate about creating fashion, arts & culture, health & wellness, and PR content. I've worked in-house with national brands like ALDI, Moda Operandi, and Kohl's, and have collaborated with agencies like Digi-Clicks, Enspire for Enterprise, and Jeneration PR. After spending three years as a jewelry merchandiser, I have a strong sense of brand aesthetics and how to create a cohesive brand identity across visuals and copy. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies from New York University and spent a semester in Europe (aka where my love of travel comes from!). When I'm not writing, you can find me curled up with a cup of tea and a good book, taking a dance class in the city, or searching for the best gluten-free eats around. CONTACT: lgtavares97@gmail.com

News Editor, ZeldaUniverse.net | Freelancer News and Guides Writer for Destructoid
I'm an Austin, TX based writer with almost a decade of experience working for technology companies like Blizzard Entertainment and Facebook. Having several technical support rolls has helped me hone my ability to communicate complex technical jargon as heavily or lightly as needed so that my readers can get what they want from the articles they read. I've also studied to be a journalist with a minor in creative writing. Putting words to use is a long time passion of mine, and I continue to work on doing just that to this day. Right now I'm a News Editor at ZeldaUniverse.net and I do freelance work for Destructoid. I write news and guides, specializing in SEO and creating unique pieces. In my spare time I work on designing table top board and card games. I'm also learning how to program LUA. Catch me on Bluesky! https://bsky.app/profile/randymarr.bsky.social

Pronounced 𝘋𝘢𝘢𝘳-𝘵𝘰𝘰-𝘯𝘰𝘰𝘳-𝘳𝘰𝘩, but most people call me Dart. Welcome to my portfolio. I'm a journalist and editor with a decade of experience navigating newsrooms big and small. Currently in Washington, D.C. as an editor at the Associated Press. I’ve chased breaking news, led teams through daily coverage chaos, and shaped sharp, inclusive storytelling that connects with readers. From crafting punchy, SEO-savvy headlines to collaborating across newsrooms, I bring precision, hustle, and a deep respect for clean copy. Fun facts: Ran a long-distance race in every NYC borough, including the 2018 New York City Marathon, I'm a Mariah Carey evangelist, and attempted the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge (I got to No. 19).

Creative Writer
Sam Howard (he/they) is a Venice, CA native and recent graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz, where he obtained his Bachelors of Arts in Literature, focusing specifically on creative writing. In 2025, he received his MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. Having learned to read at the age of 2, reading and writing have been lifelong passions of his. He has been published in the Red Wheelbarrow Anthology and has read live three times at the Living Writers Series. His work draws from his life experiences as an autistic, transgender, black and indigenous person growing up in the early 2000s and the lack of representation that he faced within books he read. As a result, his creative projects focus heavily on #OwnVoices storytelling for young and new adults. He's currently working on various projects including scripts, novels, and short stories.
