Laura Martin

Science Writer

Hiya, I'm a freelance science writer based in Scotland. My work covers all things space, including astronomy, astrophysics, planetary science, space exploration, human spaceflight and more. I also enjoy exploring stories where space intersects with other areas in science and nature, such as the effects of light pollution and the preservation of dark skies. I hold a master's (MSc) degree in Observational Astrophysics (distinction) from Liverpool John Moores University. My background in science means I value factual accuracy. Therefore, I provide thorough and extensive research, fact-checking and proofreading. My writing has been published in The Week Junior Science+Nature magazine for kids. I was also the guest space expert on their Mysteries of Science podcast episode "What killed Venus?". The listener is invited to become an interplanetary detective! I strive to create STEM content that’s informative but also engaging because it should be fun! One of my main motivations is to make content that is accessible and inclusive so that it can be enjoyed by all. I have previous experience with SpaceCareers.uk as a content writer and editor. I helped to develop space career-orientated resources for young people, early-career professionals and career changers. I've also used my writing as an effective means of science communication in various STEM careers projects, such as the Letters to a Pre-Scientist programme. I'm open to commissions, and I'd love to collaborate on exciting projects. Feel free to get in touch! 🚀 Bluesky: @laura-martin.bsky.social

Sarra Richmond

Ghostwriter & Voice Strategist

Hey. I’m the Ghost. If your market keeps forgetting you exist, that’s not a visibility problem. That’s a voice problem..... I fix that. I take invisible experts and turn them into the person their buyers cannot shut up about. Not by shouting louder. By sounding like a human with a spine. Two decades in the muck.Ghostwriting for unicorn founders. Building content engines that print revenue while everyone else is arguing with Dave from IT about fonts. Running positioning so sharp it makes LinkedIn’s beige brigade twitch. Fortune 500s. Scaling CEOs.Founders who’d rather be waterboarded with cold Pret coffee than say “passionate about leveraging synergies.” I build voice systems that sell in your sleep. (Yes, people pay for this. More than the annual gym membership you’ve used twice.) Here’s the part most people avoid saying out loud: I wrote the corporate sludge, too. The grey, lifeless “thought leadership.” The pretend-intelligent jargon soup. The stuff you read once, then forget faster than a Tesco meal deal receipt. Then I realised: boring doesn’t convert. Belief does. So I stopped performing “professional” and started telling the bloody truth. Clients stopped blending in. Deals started closing. Shock. Now I do the same for the founders who find me. Ways to work with me Done for you: email sarra@theghost.rocks I’ll excavate your voice, fix the positioning you’ve been avoiding, and deploy content that actually turns readers into revenue. If you just want to “add value,” go chat to a LinkedIn coach called Simon. I work with people who want customers. Do it yourself: Steal my templates, frameworks, and AI systems. Built for founders who’d rather master the method than outsource the magic. Ask me. My clients don’t compete. They dominate. Because nobody remembers beige. But they will remember you. If you’re done sounding like everyone else, you know where I am.
