I am a researcher, author, and writer with interests in racial equity, social justice, and cultural identity. Although I was born in the UK, I have lived and worked in several countries, including the US, Barbados, and Nigeria. CAREER SNAPSHOTS - During my time as a Senior Researcher at the Morehouse School of Medicine, I co-edited the book "Social Determinants of Health among African American Men" (2012). - I am the lead author of an article of the same name. - At Morehouse, I also coordinated the Community Health Leadership Program at the Satcher Health Leadership Institute. - Earlier in my career, I earned a Ph.D. in Social Policy from the London School of Economics. MY WRITING In my writing, I aim to engage in courageous conversations, shed light on injustices, and empower marginalized communities. I am committed to bringing attention to topics that are often overlooked or disregarded by mainstream media. Additionally, my goal is to tackle these issues in a way that highlights the perspectives of those who are disenfranchised and/or voiceless.

Cengizhan Sen (b.1998) is a London-based writer, producer, researcher and artist. A Goldsmiths, University of London graduate in BA Media and Communications, Cengizhan established a career in the creative sector. He played a pivotal role at the late Alexander McQueen’s Sarabande Foundation, supporting emerging creative talent and working with innovative brands such as AUROBOROS and a diverse range of creative practitioners. His diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma inspired a writing practice exploring sickness, identity, their associative traumas and healing. He is currently supporting Trekstock as an ambassador and cancer advocate.
