Yvonne Lau is a journalist and photojournalist-in-training who splits her time between Canada and China, alongside Eastern Europe and Türkiye. She is currently the Financial Post's national technology reporter, an active freelance writer and public speaker. Her reporting, from feature stories and profiles to photo essays, examines how market forces and geopolitical and cultural currents, from the US-China AI rivalry to the global surge in defence spending, are reshaping communities worldwide.
