Justin Koehler

Broadcast Journalist & On-Air Personality

I'm currently the Lead Anchor and News Director for Waterloo Region's FM 98.5 CKWR, Canada's oldest community radio station. I have a history largely based in Social Media/Marketing, primarily in the automotive sector. I'm a graduate of Fanshawe College's Journalism-Broadcasting program and have experience working with Woodstock's 104.7 Heart FM, Niagara's 101.1 More FM and 105.1 The River, London's 106.9 The X, and currently work as the In-Game Broadcast Host for the London Majors. My most extensive experience in journalism has come through my work with 570 NewsRadio and CityNews Kitchener, where I served as a Traffic Reporter and Weekend Anchor before moving up to join the morning team as a full-time News Reporter, where we were nominated for an RTDNA award. I've always been a big people person, with my friends often attributing my openness, empathy, and optimism. I love lighting up a room and getting others to be comfortable and happy.
