Over the past three years studying Journalism at York St John University i have developed a deep passion for the profession. My strengths as a creative and collaborative storyteller are rooted in the genuine enjoyment of journalism and the process of uncovering meaningful stories, researching and interviewing to shaping, informing, challenging and connecting with audiences. This portfolio brings together the work and experience i have gained throughout my studies, showcasing my skills and also the enthusiasm and dedication i bring to each project.

Lush Sustainability - Blog Post

As part of my mindless academy placement i had to take part in global impact challenges, this is one of my favourite blogs that i wrote. I looked into the cosmetics brand Lush and its sustainability, the steps they take to be as environmentally friendly as possible, statistics, ingredients and why Generation Z loves the brand.

TV Newsday Showreel

This showreel is a small glimpse into a TV Newsday. I had the opportunity to take on several different roles, included in this video i was a presenter and reporter, which also meant i created packages on the day, live reports, presenting an entire news show but i also got the chance to be a producer, director and i experienced several different roles in the gallery.

SHE Feminist Magazine

A feminist magazine, focusing on the importance of female friendships. It also discusses feminist icons and the greatest TV friendships. This magazine was inspired by all the incredible women in my life and how they have shaped me and allowed me to grow into the person i am today. Plus my grandma is the cover!

Mindless Academy Placement Certificates

I completed an online placement with Mindless Academy in content writing. As part of this course i had to complete several global impact challenges, skills tutorials, surveys and mindset tutorials. The whole experience was extremely flexible, engaging and shifted my entire mindset towards content writing and my career as a whole.
