Biologist and science, health, and environmental journalist. My work appears in media outlets such as Eos (AGU), TecScience, Gatopardo, Revista de la Universidad, Nexos, Este País, ¿Cómo Ves?, Animal Político, Corriente Alterna UNAM, etc. As a graduate of UNAM and member of its Investigative Journalism Unit, I write about topics like neuroscience, environmental science, and biomedicine, and the way they connect with our lives and impact our society. In 2024, for my interdisciplinary work, I received the National Health Journalism Award for researching the cognitive effects of plastic pollution in Mexico.
