I have a passion for political reporting, education reporting and photojournalism. I'm also experienced in writing breaking news and feature stories, and I enjoy travel and creative non-fiction writing on the side. I'm a journalist for two reasons: I love the heart behind reporting, and I love the art behind storytelling. I'm currently a reporting fellow at the Fort Worth Report, reporting on school districts and arts around Arlington, Texas. Previously, I interned at Al Jazeera English's Fault Lines documentary series in Washington, D.C., and I was the former managing editor at The University of Texas at Arlington's student publication, The Shorthorn. Arbër Qerka-Gashi

Arbër is a London-based Writer, Curator, Researcher, Visual Artist and Events Producer. He holds a BA in History from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Master’s in Gender, Sexuality, and Culture from Birkbeck, University of London. Arbër writes on a range of themes but is particularly passionate about Balkan heritage, diaspora experiences, Albanian identity, and Kosovo’s cultural expression. Arber founded the digital platform and annual publication Balkanism, and co-founded the Balkan London Collective. Arbër most recently co-curated the 'Inside/Outside and All In Between' exhibition at the Migration Museum. Arbër's work has been featured in Balkan Insight, Kosovo 2.0, Attitude Magazine, the other side of hope project, The Sociological Review Foundation, The Road to Nowhere Magazine etc. Arbër is currently engaged in a curatorial residency at Goldsmiths CCA, a part of a collective of curators known as the Community Curators. Arbër seeks collaborations with arts organisations, publications, and collectives that seek to explore themes he is engaged in.

Roo Read is currently studying at the University of Oxford, where she is pursuing an Undergraduate Diploma in Creative Writing. She is a scriptwriter and researcher for Eleanor Neale, a leading figure in the UK's true crime community with over 2.7 million followers. Roo has also written and directed three short films and is the creator and host of the podcast series "Abducted Art and Cultural Theft." Roo is passionate about writing fiction across multiple genres, from thriller to fantasy to comedy, pulling on the imaginative strings of 'what-ifs' to see where her characters will take her. She is equally fascinated by true stories and enjoys challenging the boundaries between fiction and nonfiction.
