Through both coursework and hands-on reporting experience — with outlets such as The Morning Call in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Port Aransas South Jetty in Port Aransas, Texas, KXAN News in Austin, Texas, and 60 Minutes in New York City — I’ve developed strong skills in writing, editing, reporting, interviewing, data analysis, photography, and AP Style. I've covered a wide range of topics, including politics, education, the environment, local government, art and entertainment, history and the food and retail industries. My work consists of quick-turn daily stories, weekly columns, in-depth features and long-form investigative pieces. I’m also educated in video and audio storytelling. I’m passionate about honing my craft and committed to delivering journalism that informs, engages, and serves the public with integrity.
