This just in...Minkah Fitzpatrick has been traded back to his former team the Miami Dolphins. In exchange the Steelers get Jalen Ramsey. Pittsburgh also gets a Dolphins 2027 seventh round draft pick and give up their 2027 fifth round pick to Miami.
Included in the trade is tight end Jonnu Smith which means the Steelers have another valuable weapon on offense. Smith is also another big tight end at 6'3" and 248 pounds. His numbers in 2024 where nothing to write off. 17 games, 88 receptions, 884 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. Arthur Smith loves using his tight ends so now with Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington also in the mix and DK Metcalf to the outside, other teams should not underestimate the potential the Pittsburgh Steelers will be bringing to the table.

Voice your opinion on the poll: Who should the starting quarterback be for the Pittsburgh Steelers?
It's hard to believe it's that time of year again. Every year following the NFL draft and the release of the official schedules, I make my way too early predictions. In the past, my forecast has never really been that accurate once the season ends and my predictions are matched against final results but in a few words...it's fun!

In the past I've authored articles about my favorite sports movies and there have been classics. But what about the films centered around youth and kids? The movie The Sandlot came to mind the other day which brings me to this article asking the question "where are they now?"
In the previous article in this series, I wrote about The Sandlot. In Part II it's a funnier movie, sillier than The Sandlot. There are two versions of The Bad News Bears, the original released in 1976 and then nearly 30 years later a remake starring Billy Bob Thornton which was not anything like the original in simply clean humor.

The Pirates had an outstanding team then but for 22 years prior from 1993 to 2012, the Bucs failed to finish a season above .500. Their newly found success in 2013 was short-lived. Winning 94 games in that illustrious 2013 season they would make the playoffs two more consecutive seasons winning 88 and then 98 games before falling back under .500 in 2016.
