Rebecca Judd is the Editorial & Operations Lead at Also Cool Mag, a DIY arts publication, events series, and radio show based in Ottawa and Montreal, Canada. In this role, she writes and edits features on music and culture, collaborates with contributors, and helps steer the magazine’s broader creative direction – from publishing to community engagement.
Outside of Also Cool, she’s a freelance journalist and multidisciplinary writer whose work has appeared in spaces like Local Wolves, Recording Arts Canada, and Nosy Mag. Her poetry and photography have been featured in publications like Apt613, Grain of Salt Mag, and Into Existence Zine.
Rebecca is passionate about sustaining and celebrating the creative forces that make communities brighter – and about criticism that observes with care, curiosity, and a sense of shared humanity.
