At TriWest Healthcare Alliance, I managed the organization's website content. TriWest serves our nation's Veterans and military community in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to administer healthcare benefits and programs. The website is an important channel to provide valuable information to not only Veteran customers in 14 states and U.S. territories in the Pacific regarding benefits information, but also for their more than 700,000 healthcare providers in their network.
As a communications consultant, I worked to create content for the Freedom Financial Network LinkedIn Life pages. These corporate pages were created to attract prospective job candidates, drive recruitment, and build the company's employer brand by showcasing daily work life at Freedom Financial.
As communicaitons consultant to the Pogue Center, I created website content to promote the cosmetic and oral surgery procedures offered to prospective patients, along with medical staff bios, service descriptions, retail products, and blog content. I also created a tagline for the Center, "Let Our Experience Guide You," used on all branded material. I worked with vendors to create this updated, user-friendly company website.

Grab a Plate is a website I created in 2011 to share food stories, photography, and recipes. I continue to grow the site, which generates approximately 25,000 unique monthly views. I manage operations and creative for the site to include editorial content photography, social media, site maintenance, and paid partnerships. Social Media
This was the final post in a social campaign for National Suicide Prevention Month. For TriWest Healthcare Alliance, I created a series of 5 videos that focused on 5 steps to help prevent suicide: Be the one to 1. Ask 2. Be There 3. Keep Them Safe 4. Help Them Connect, and 5. Follow Up. Each person in the final video shared an individual videos based on the 5 ways to help prevent suicide. Each video was shared over the course of the month, culminating in this final video.
My Grab a Plate Facebook page is a social media companion to the website. This Facebook business page reaches 27,000+ followers. I monitor and engage in daily conversations, build community, answer questions, and provide content for my followers.
For TriWest Healthcare Alliance, I led social media content while on-site for the annual Summer Sports Clinic for disabled veterans, an event hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and sponsored by TriWest. I interviewed participants and sharing social content, helping to promote the event.

Sprouts Farmers Market is a national retail grocer with 400 stores in 23 states, and nearly 33,000 employees. Phoenix, AZ (July 20, 2022) - The TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) Contact Center recently was recertified as a Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal, a global leader in the contact center industry. The certification is based on best-practice metrics drawn from the world's largest database of objective and quantitative data that BenchmarkPortal audits and validates.
I often work with consumer brands as an influencer, developing social campaigns with the goal to connect brands with new audiences and to expand their social reach. Brands will often request information about me and my site, along with rates for specific work. I created this to share with prospective partners.
Ad and Collateral Development
This recruitment ad for Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS) encourages prospective employees to discover opportunities to make a difference in the communities served by MIHS. The messaging showcases that employees who work at MIHS gain valuable and valued experience that sets them apart from others.
In conjunction with the design team, I led the creation of this recruitment postcard, developed for a specific hiring event targeting military veterans. The messaging uses testimonials from current veteran employees, and strives to share how military experience can be transferred to a successful career with TriWest.
I wrote and edited the content for this brochure for the school's $80 million capital campaign.
This was part of an email recruitment campaign for Thunderbird's MBA program. I wrote the content and worked with the designer on the look of the postcard.
I recognized that members of the aesthetics team, and the Chief Medical Officer, did not have in-office print pieces that current and prospective patients could take home to lear more about their medical team. I wrote bios for each team member and created flyers for each person, Each flyer included staff bios and conversational quotes to fit each person's personality.
The Liquid Facelift was a new offering at The Pogue Center. I created the copy for this flyer - a piece prospective patients could take with them to learn more about the procedure.

I was assigned to interview one of the most renowned celebrity chefs, Wolfgang Puck, for SheKnows.com where I was a contributing writer. During my interview with Chef Puck, we chatted about home cooked meals, healthy eating habits, and his tips for simple cooking. This interview was featured on SheKnows.com
I pitched the idea of visiting sites in Rome, Italy that were "off the beaten path" for travelers for SheKnows.com's Travel section. I developed the storyline, interviewed vendors, wrote the content, and provided photography for this piece.

I interviewed celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich for the SheKnows.com Food section. Ms. Bastianich is an Italian-American celebrity chef, television host, author, and restaurateur. I wrote the article for this features, sharing this chef's insights of global wedding celebrations and the connection to food around the world.
I interviewed American author and television personality, Ted Allen. Mr. Allen was the food and wine connoisseur on the Bravo network's television program Queer Eye, and has been the host of the TV cooking competition series Chopped since its launch in 2009. I created an engaging article focused on entertaining for the SheKnows.com Food section.
