Mariana Henriques Martins

Researcher & Writer

I am a researcher and writer, with an academic background in History, who is passionate about exploring current affairs, history, and more recently, well-being and mental health. My work, presented here, reflects my interests from a few years ago, but I am currently working at a mental health NGO, where I am gaining practical experience and learning to combine theory with hands-on efforts to create change.

Alongside my professional endeavors, I am a fiction writer, having published my first book and currently working on my second. My stories often delve into queer narratives, mental health, human connection, and the relationship humans have with the metaphysical.
