Kathy McLay is a Canadian writer and Francophile. Kathy writes a newsletter about culture, travel, lifestyle and like-minded midlife women navigating their next chapter under her brand Labadie Boutique, an homage to her French-Canadian mother. She is a also a contributing writer for France Today and Inspirelle Paris.
In parallel, Kathy works as a fractional executive, leveraging her 25+ year advertising career in Client Services to lead businesses, teams and business development on a contract basis. Her writing experience in these roles includes proposals, RFPs, pitch documents, strategic planning, research questionnaires and summaries, competency development, training courses, press releases, internal process documents, digital content, client communications and more. Examples of business writing and content development can be provided upon request.
Kathy's writing skills are also valued in her role as a Board Director and Chair of her local Children's Aid Society and as an art history educator at her local museum.
