I am a creative, strategic, and focused professional with a diverse communications background, a history of driving sustained audience growth and engagement, and a talent for aligning teams around common goals.

I combine more than two decades of experience providing communications leadership, vision, and new production oversight for a CNN; experience producing engaging, story-driven content that resonates with target audiences; steering all aspects of the storyline development and creative process; and creating high-impact, award-winning stories that set new standards in editorial quality.

I have the communication skills to clearly articulate my vision, persuade people to take action, and get the ball rolling in the right direction. Whether I’m sending out emails, communicating with a partner, presenting to a crowd, or anything in between; I communicate quickly, accurately, and effectively.

Show Producing: Best of BackStory

This was one of the most well-received episodes of Best of BackStory I ever produced, focusing on the night that CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta and his crew spent tending to patients at a makeshift hospital in Haiti, after the medical staff fled due to security concerns.

Segment Producing: Hanging Out with Germany's Olympic Luge Team

This is a fun segment I produced ahead of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Berlin-based correspondent Fred Pleitgen went out to spend some time with the German luge team, to get a feel for what the sport is like. He ended up suiting up in a luge suit and taking a ride.

Segment Producing: The Long Road to Cover China's Earthquake

This is a segment I produced using material sent in from the team covering the 2008 earthquake in China's province. The piece showcases what John Vause and his team went through simply to get to the scene of the story, and the challenges the crew faced trying to get the story out to the world.
