This may be the Year of the Ox, but in the NFL, it's the Year of the Dog. Underdogs went 9-5 against the spread in week 10. As a result, dogs now have a 58 percent season win rate.
It's been a cruel few weeks for an NFL bettor. Underdogs are 20-9 over the last 14 days. As we saw on Thursday night when the +8.5 Dolphins upset the Ravens, anything can happen on an NFL field...other than the Lions winning a game. Thankfully, you have yours truly to help put money in your pocket.
You heard it here first, folks - a lot of teams are going to win on the road this weekend. Now, let's get to the picks before Odell Beckham Jr.'s dad posts a video about some of my poor predictions in the past.
It's an NFL Halloween Sunday! Expect costumes, candy, and a zombie sighting in Minnesota when Jerry Jones emerges from a US Bank Stadium bathroom stall.
Betters, beware. It's a mild upset Sunday where anything can happen. Just ask the remaining Raiders fans that didn't impale themselves after last week's bizarre loss to the Jets.
Well, folks, it's another (mostly) craptastic week of games - with the only exciting ones being Cowboys at Patriots, Packers at 49ers, and Ravens at Rams; however, there should be plenty of unintentional hilarity. There always is every time Mitch Trubisky - or the entire Dolphins and Redskins rosters - take the field.
Last Sunday was a nightmare. Yours truly predicted it'd be a road dog-friendly week 10; instead, eight home teams won. The Saints' home loss to the Falcons was the focus of my nightmares this week. But I'm not giving in to despair. The following picks will help you make money. (Probably. Maybe. Hopefully.)
My (probiotic lacking) gut tells me it's a road-friendly weekend. I'll take nine teams winning on the road. This might be the road to perdition, but I've got to follow my intuition. Whoa, that just rhymed! Maybe I am a creative!
Get ready for another lousy week of matchups! The games might put you to sleep, but they can also put money in your pocket if you follow my advice. (But please don't sue me if you lose everything!)
This might be the least interesting week of the season thus far. Ten of the fourteen lines are over -5. That's all right. I've got two huge upsets that will blow you away. [EDITOR'S NOTE: You won't be blown away.]
Can Monday Night Football please get rid of the officiating guy (it’s not even worth my time to Google his name) who occasionally chimes in when there’s an unclear call? He offers nothing other than the blatantly obvious — “whoever comes up with the ball gets possession!” — or takes the sides of the blind refs, much to the annoyance of Booger and anyone else with half a brain. (Does Booger have half a brain? That’s open to interpretation.) Okay, enough complaining. Here are my picks.
Long story short, Freddie Kitchens is in over his head. I’ve watched a few of his press conferences in recent weeks and he’s always nervously chugging water like Mark Zuckerberg at a congressional hearing. But you already know to never bet on the Browns; so, here are the right teams to bet on this Sunday.
Poor Vontaze Burfict. His “heart is broken” after being suspended for the rest of the year. And Jon Gruden’s upset at the league. Well, Chuckie, things of this nature tend to happen when your personnel decisions lead to your locker room doubling as a mental hospital.

Unfortunately, the magazine was never published; however, I am proud of the work that my team and I did in getting the magazine sold.
