A talented university student has won a competition with famous lingerie brand Lepel and could soon see her designs sold in major high street retailers such as John Lewis and ASOS. Poppy Spinks, a 19-year-old student at De Montfort University (DMU), was picked to win an internship with the company, as well as receiving £500.
The past year and half has been a whirlwind for Amber Run. They were picked up by BBC Introducing in Nottingham which led to them playing Reading and Leeds Festival and having a week of glory on the Radio 1 playlist with 'Noah'.
Students at the University of Warwick are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most selfies taken simultaneously across multiple venues. The students will join participants from France, Germany, Spain and Italy to set the record at 12.30 on Wednesday.

This week is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. Beat is a national charity dedicated to raising awareness of eating disorders and providing support for the 1.6 million people in the UK who suffer from an eating disorder.
This week's Campus Celebrities are Jo Estrin and Frankie Garforth who have founded a feminist campaign right here at the University of Nottingham. Jo is a medic and Frankie is a classics student, together they are fronting the campaign for greater awareness for feminist issues here at uni.

17th November is the 43rd birthday of The Sun's Page 3. This weekend saw protests across the country as men and women took to the streets to gather signatures for the pe tit ion to editor David Dinsmore to take the bare boobs out of the nation's favourite red-top.
With lecturers on strike across the country, The Tab went to the North Entrance to speak to Howard Stevenson, the President of University College Union's Nottingham branch. While Notts students have been enjoying their days off, lecturers up and down the UK have been protesting against what they believe to be a 30% decline in the value of their pay.
