As a Portuguese Copy Editor at CICG Americas, I am responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the content produced by the Center for the Americas, a division of China International Communications Group that publishes "China Hoje" magazine, Beijing Review and others. I collaborate with a team of editors, translators, and journalists to deliver timely and relevant information on China and the world to the Portuguese-speaking audience, covering topics such as politics, economy, culture, and society.
I also volunteer in various research projects focused on Brazil, China, and international affairs, contributing to the production of newsletters, op-eds, academic articles and books. My work has been featured in media outlets such as The Diplomat, The Lowy Interpreter, Xinhua, South China Morning Post, Caixin, and ASPI Strategist. I hold an MSc in International Relations from Brazil's Federal University of ABC (UFABC), a postgraduate diploma in International Journalism, and a bachelor's degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from Brazil's Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
I am driven by a passion for building bridges, testing ideas, and finding shared solutions that can contribute to society.
