Tech industry (Technical writing/copywriting, M&A documentation, editing, etc)
Experienced writer and architect with a background as a Technical Writer, Copywriter, Creative Writer, and Editor at The Corum Group, a boutique investment bank based in Bothell, Seattle. My work focused on M&A, technology (Software, SaaS, IT Services), prompt engineering/AI and UI/UX. I have also worked as a freelance writer for national and international contractors.
Over the course of three years at The Corum Group, I created mission-critical documentation—including executive summaries, one-page teasers, and email cover letters—for more than 50 international clients, many operating in highly regulated industries such as FDA-regulated healthcare, banking, finance, AI, and data movement. These materials directly supported M&A transactions totaling over $50 million USD.
A personal milestone I’m particularly proud of: I was the first (and only) non-American writer to work at the firm in its 30+ year history, during which dozens of writers have collaborated with the company.
Outside of professional writing, I publish film articles and reviews, with an extensive body of work on Letterboxd and selected long-form pieces on Substack. I also DJ vinyl records occasionally.
