Elisa Belotti

Freelance Journalist

Italy

I am a freelance journalist based in Italy, specializing in human rights and marginalized communities, with a particular focus on the impact of religion on society.

I am the founder and co-host of Italy's first podcast on queerness, feminism, and Christianity. I have also written investigative reports on abuses within the Church, including violence against nuns and conversion therapies, for which I won a special mention from the 2024 Vergani Prize and the Minotti Prize 2025.

Soon, I will be launching a newsletter about Christianity around the world
