Chrissy Ewald is the Josephine County reporter at The Daily Courier newspaper in Grants Pass, Oregon.
She writes about county politics and weekend events, as well as public safety and breaking news, for print publication five days a week.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from Willamette University, where she worked as a news writer and managing editor at her college's student newspaper and as a news reporting intern and freelance reporter at KLCC 89.7 Eugene. At KLCC, she researched, wrote, recorded and produced news spots and features for web and radio.
In her free time, she likes to sail, hike, kayak, and say hello to seals.
