CU Boulder's vast and historically valuable Glenn Miller collection is set to take the spotlight, thanks to a philanthropy-funded archiving project. Miller attended CU Boulder before becoming one of the most successful big band musicians of the 20th century.

A faculty profile piece highlighting how a Social Work professor and restaurant co-owner is making a difference in her community. I met with the subject for an interview and provided creative direction for main photo.

Worked as a freelance Web Content Writer and Fact-Checker on portions of Seattle University's new website. Created content; copy edited; and migrated and built new department pages to meet June 2024 website launch date.
Monthly email newsletter distributed to CU Boulder alumni and donors. I was responsible for project management, writing content and acquiring imagery and ads from campus partners.
Wrote script and art directed imagery, graphics, voiceovers and music for videographer. Presented business case for executive director for approval.
Collaborated with in-house and freelance videographers and wrote script based on existing video footage. Assisted in providing direction on visuals.

The MiniMax expansion team includes Student Waste Diversion Coordinator Audrey Taber and MiniMax Program Assistants Todd Carey and Kevin Terrado. Taber is a current UW student, Terrado a recent alumnus and Carey has worked at other departments at the UW.

The annual President's Report is an important resource distributed to secondary school leadership across the country. The 2020 edition was the final printed piece before the university transitioned to a digital format. My credits include senior writer, contributing copy editor and proofreader.
Wrote copy and designed insert card that provides staff instructions on how to use MiniMax containers.
Developed Philadelphia Magazine ad concept, copy, and design layout during the Great Recession for University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education Admissions.
My role as writer in this Seattle University Admissions pieces includes interviewing subjects for select profile pieces, updating select spread headlines and researching statistical data for accuracy.
