Broadcast Journalist
A soon-to-be graduate of Michigan State University, my path has taught me to never stop asking questions and always seek the answer. While I have always found success in the classroom (3.8 high school GPA, 31 ACT score, MSU Honors College), it has been my experiences outside of school that equipped me with the tools to thrive in my line of work. After partaking in apprenticeships and leadership councils throughout high school, I went through a troubling two years living on my own in Arizona. Trying to chase my dream of graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, I lived and worked full-time in Phoenix trying to gain residency so I could afford tuition. Never able to get through the system, I had to make the decision to move back to Michigan and cope with what I thought of as a wasted two years. It wasn't until I started finding success that I realized just how much my time in Arizona built and matured me. After growing into a diligent reporter at The State News and finding my on-air voice at The Team 92.1 in Lansing, I am confident in my ability to deal with any situation or person I come across. My not-so-secret formula? Smile, listen, and be curious.

A lifelong New Yorker, I spent four of my best years in Happy Valley where I became a proud Penn State alumnus in May 2016. I soaked up a ton of knowledge to jumpstart an award-winning journalism career. My past reporting stops at the Centre Daily Times, StateCollege.com, and CityofBasketballLove.com saw me extensively cover Penn State football and basketball from Christian Hackenberg's pro day to the Penn State-Michigan hoops and hockey doubleheader at The Garden - plus plenty of games and events between!
