Writer/Editor/Communications Strategist
As an award-winning Communications Expert, I leverage creativity, business acumen and industry expertise to develop media relations/communications initiatives that improve corporate image, consumer choice and market share. I use the power of language to generate positive press coverage, work with executives to define messaging/talking points and position companies for industry awards and recognition. And I excel in developing multiplatform content that aligns well with corporate vision and represents the operations with one consistent brand voice. I recently completed a successful 27-year run at Turner Broadcasting, where I served as Public Relations Editorial Director, promoting some of cable's most popular shows. I am now actively looking to take on my next challenge in communications. If you know of opportunities that align well with my skill set and experience, I invite you to connect with me.

Writer, Editor, Creator
I’m not a fan of the title “Content Creator” with all its overuse and hobbyists, but there really is no better industry term that encompasses what I do. I received my creative writing degree at Purchase College from their limited writers program and have been creating content since 2017, stepping into the world of podcasts and blog writing to start. From there, I took the experience from my marketing career and began to apply it to what I created. Art goes unnoticed without strategic visibility. My journey in content creation and management has a bit of everything, from video scripts and editing to digital content writing and graphic design.

Digital editor and journalist
Starting my professional writing career more than 15 years ago, I have crafted crime and automobile stories for community newspapers, shared the joy and excitement of entertainment news, translated the pixelated world for video games into everyday text, and attempted to make the latest technology understandable for everyone. Throughout most of my life, writing has been an incredibly passionate aspect of communicating with people. While a photo could be worth a thousand words, there is something magical about crafting a narrative that draws a reader into exploring more.

Freelance Copywriter
I am a freelance copywriter and copy editor from South London with over ten years of experience, and always on the look out for new challenges and fresh opportunities. I have worked within a number of different industries, including travel, beauty, and lifestyle as well as for charities and NGOs. Within the travel industry I have worked with the luxury OTA Best at Travel, as well as Expedia, hotels.com, Google, Hilton, and more recently with the bespoke bookings website Plum Guide. I also work with Digimax to produce websites for dental practices all around the UK. Entirely unique, each one reflects the personalities of the dentists involved, and is designed to attract their ideal patient, while also conveying an air of welcome. These sites are designed to be as easy to read and understand as possible for the users, while still including all the information and detail necessary for each treatment and service. My experience as a freelance copy editor means I have an eagle eye for mistakes and mistakenly placed apostrophes, for misused words and malapropisms, as well as for the lowly typo. Above all, I am a copywriter who loves telling a story, whether it be over several paragraphs and pages, or with a few carefully chosen words.
